Escondido and Fagnano Lakes 4x4 Tour + Estancia La Carmen

On this 4x4 tour around Tierra del Fuego, we'll depart from Ushuaia to travel across the landscapes surrounding the Escondido and Fagnano lakes and visit Estancia La Carmen for an Argentinian BBQ.

Description

We will pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia to begin the 4x4 tour around Tierra del Fuego. The route starts in an all-terrain vehicle heading to mirador del Valle Carbajal to observe the fuegino landscapes. Next, we proceed to the Garibaldi Pass, one of the best viewpoints for the Escondido and Fagnano lakes.

From the world's most southerly mountain pass, we will cross the forest of lengas along the banks of lake Escondido and continue towards lake Fagnano, home to Estancia La Carmen.

At Estancia La Carmen, you can enjoy the facilities, walk along the lake, and visit the Estancia Museum, which provides insights into the history and old settlers of Tierra del Fuego.

Afterward, we will have a traditional Argentinian lunch with a starter of ham and cheese, a typical BBQ with salad or vegetables, and homemade flan for dessert.

Following the meal on the shores of lake Fagnano, we will return to Ushuaia, expecting to arrive back at your hotel 7.5 hours after the pickup.
