Laguna Esmeralda Hike

After hotel pickup in Ushuaia, we'll head towards the valleys of the Tierra del Fuego province. Following a 20-minute drive, we'll arrive at the hike's starting point.

During the trek, we will cross two glacial origin valleys: the Tierra Mayor Valley and the Esmeralda River Valley. The walk will last two hours through forests of trees and glaciers. At midday, we will reach the Esmeralda Lagoon, known for its emerald green waters. Here, we'll enjoy a picnic with fruit, alfajores, empanadas, and warm tea.

After the picnic, we'll head back using the same route, returning to Ushuaia by bus, with a drop-off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.

Important

Participants must bring long pants, waterproof jackets, and hiking boots. Additionally, a rucksack and water are required, along with gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and sun cream.
