Martial Glacier Hike

Experience an exciting winter adventure in Ushuaia by hiking through the Martial Glacier, one of the key glaciers in Tierra del Fuego!

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the Martial Glacier Ski Center, where our trekking adventure begins. Prepare to explore one of Ushuaia's key glaciers.

Our journey takes us through the Tourist Reserve en route to the Martial Glacier. Along the way, we'll share interesting facts about the landscapes. Once we reach our destination, we'll provide all the essential equipment and start our hike to the summit of the Martial Glacier.

During the trek, we'll skirt the former ski slope, traverse the Fuegian forests, and observe the river created by the glacier's meltwater. The path includes rocky and icy terrain, with our guides available to assist in navigating these challenges.

Upon reaching the Martial viewpoint, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel, and Tierra del Fuego. A lunch comprising a sandwich, dried fruits, nuts, and an alfajor will be served, along with warm tea.

After replenishing our energy, we'll begin our descent towards the refuge. A minibus will transport you back to your Ushuaia hotel, concluding our 5-hour adventure.
