Mount Susana Hike

Description

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and drive to a trail in the Tierra del Fuego National Park for an exciting hike on Mount Susana.

During this 8-kilometre (5-mile) hike, we'll ascend slopes of up to 400 metres (1312 feet). We will make several stops to enjoy the Fuegian landscape and take photos. After approximately 2 hours, we will reach the summit of Mount Susana at an altitude of 610 metres (2000 feet).

From the summit, we will have panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, including the shores of Chile and the islands of Hoste and Navarino. After enjoying the views, we will begin our descent.

On the downhill route, we will see the Darwin mountain range and the Tierra del Fuego National Park. We will stop halfway for a picnic lunch, which includes a sandwich, chocolate pudding, and an apple.

After lunch, we will finish the hike at the trail’s starting point, where our transport will take us back to Ushuaia. We will arrive back at your hotel about 6 hours after pickup.
