Description

The boat tour of the canals of Utrecht begins at the quay of Oudegracht Street, setting sail at 11 am.

The route includes sailing along the Oudegracht, which crosses the old part of the city, allowing views of St. Martin's Cathedral and the Dom tower, the tallest bell tower in the Netherlands. The onboard guide will share interesting facts about this landmark.

During the cruise, participants will also pass the old town hall, site of the famous Treaty of Utrecht, and hear about its implications for Europe. The tour continues past Winkel en Sinkel, one of the first shopping centers in the world.

The cruise will then pass by Stadskasteel Oudaen, a 13th-century castle in the historic center, before moving along the Nieuwegracht, the city's new canal.

Finally, at 12 pm, the cruise returns to the departure dock, concluding the tour.
