Pulacayo Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Uyuni at the indicated time and head to Pulacayo, located just 6 miles (9.6 km) from Uyuni. This small town features old iron locomotives used to transport silver from the mines. The tour includes stories about the legendary train robbers Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, highlighting their connection to this place.
During our visit to this open-air train museum, we will learn about Pulacayo's mining wealth, which significantly contributed to the country's economic development in the early 20th century.
After exploring Pulacayo, we will proceed to Tomave, known for its colonial church and rugged landscapes. Following this, we will visit the hot springs of Tomave in the Altiplano environment.
Our next stops include the Warmy Kasilla green lagoon and the Orqo Kasilla light blue lagoon, situated at nearly 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) above sea level, ensuring a memorable experience.
After 10 or 11 hours of touring Pulacayo, we'll return to Uyuni and drop you off at your hotel.
