Salar de Uyuni Full Day Trip

Witness one of the most unique landscapes in the world when you take this fantastic trip to the Salar de Uyuni. You will stroll through the planet's largest salt flat and watch the sun setting over this magical landscape.

Salar de Uyuni Trip

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Uyuni and head to the Uyuni salt flat. During the journey, there will be a brief stop at the "train cemetery", which features rusty locomotives from the 1940s.

We will stop in Colchani, where we will visit a salt processing plant to learn about the properties of salt and its artisanal wares.

At midday, we enter the salt flat, which is the same size as Hawaii's 'Big Island' and contains 60% of the world's lithium. We will tour the salt flat, witness salt extraction, and enjoy a local meal.

After lunch, we will visit Incahuasi Island, known for its giant cacti, where you will have 40 minutes of free time for photos.

The trip concludes with a stunning sunset over the salt flat before returning to your hotels in Uyuni after 9 hours.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup at hotels in the centre of Uyuni. For those in remote areas, pickup will occur at Avenida Colon, 529.

Isla Incahuasi is not accessible during the rainy season. Government prohibitions on entry may apply depending on water levels in the area.
