Uyuni Salt Flat & Tunupa Volcano 3 Day Tour

On this 2-day tour, we'll admire the natural beauty of the Uyuni salt flat, the largest salt desert in the world, and visit several Andean villages.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from Uyuni Airport and head towards the salt flat. We'll stop at the Train Cemetery, then proceed to Colchani to visit the local market and a salt processing plant. Next, we will enter the Uyuni salt flat for a walk, seeing salt piles, water holes, and the monument for the Dakar Rally. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed here.

After lunch, we will visit Incahuasi Island to hike up for panoramic views of the salt flat. The day will conclude with a sunset view over the salt flat before settling into the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will head to Coqueza at the base of Tunupa volcano to enjoy the scenery. From here, we have the option to either drive or hike to the base of the volcano for panoramic views of the salt flat. We will return to the hotel, making stops to appreciate the natural beauty.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will prepare for our return journey, ultimately arriving back at the airport.
