Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama 3-Day Tour

On this 3-day tour to San Pedro de Atacama, travelers will traverse the Bolivian region of Uyuni in a 4x4, visiting attractions such as the Salar de Uyuni, the Museum of Trains, and the Colorada and Verde lagoons.

Description

Day 1: Uyuni

We will meet on Calle Colon at the scheduled time and begin our tour in a 4x4 vehicle. The first visit will be to the Museum of Trains in Uyuni. We will then proceed to Colchani, the entry point to the Salar de Uyuni, where local salt products are sold. After experiencing the salt desert, there will be opportunities for photos and a picnic-style lunch.

We will continue to Incahuasi Island for panoramic views, before proceeding to Candelaria or San Juan for overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Uyuni Lagoons - Huayllajara

After an early continental breakfast, we will explore the Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve and enjoy views of the Ollagüe Volcano in San Juan. Lunch will be in San Juan, followed by visits to the Cañapa, Charchota, Honda, and Hedionda lagoons, home to pink flamingos. We will cross the Siloli Desert and visit the Colorada lagoon before returning to the hotel.

Day 3: Huayllajara - San Pedro de Atacama

On the final day, we will have breakfast and visit the geysers, then explore the Salvador Dalí Desert. We will visit the Verde Lagoon and the Blanca Lagoon, located at the foothills of the Licancabur Volcano. The tour concludes after crossing the border to Chile, dropping off at the central station in San Pedro de Atacama around 1 pm.
