Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama 3-Day Tour

On this 3-day tour to San Pedro de Atacama, we will traverse the Bolivian region of Uyuni in a 4x4 and visit its main attractions, including the Salar de Uyuni, the Museum of Trains, and the Colorada and Verde lagoons.

Description

Day 1: Uyuni

We will meet on Calle Colon and start the tour in a 4x4, visiting the Museum of Trains in Uyuni to see old steam-powered machines. Next, we will head to Colchani, the main entry point to the Salar de Uyuni, where you can purchase handmade salt products. After taking photos in the salt desert, we'll enjoy a picnic-style lunch.

We will visit Incahuasi Island for views of the salt flats, and then head to Candelaria or San Juan for the night.

Day 2: Uyuni Lagoons - Huayllajara

After a continental breakfast, we'll explore the Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve, visiting the town of San Juan for views of the Ollagüe Volcano and lunch. We will then visit the Cañapa, Charchota, Honda and Hedionda lagoons, known for pink flamingos.

The tour continues through the Siloli Desert featuring natural formations, and ends at the Colorada lagoon. We'll return to the hotel to relax.

Day 3: Huayllajara - San Pedro de Atacama

On the last day, we'll have breakfast before visiting the geysers and the Salvador Dalí Desert. We will then explore the Verde Lagoon and the Blanca Lagoon, located near the Licancabur Volcano. The tour concludes as we cross the border into Chile, dropping off at the central station in San Pedro de Atacama around 1 pm.

This tour includes two nights of accommodation—one in Candelaria or San Juan and the other in Huayllajara. You can choose between:
