Safari Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arugam Bay at the designated time on an off-roading vehicle. From here, we'll drive for 2 hours until we reach the Kumana National Park. This protected area is located on the southeastern coast of the country and is known for its birdlife.
Once at the park, we'll begin a safari to observe various species including elephants, bears, leopards, deer, and buffalos. Guides will accompany us and provide insights into Sri Lankan fauna and flora.
Kumana's highlight is its large bird population, hosting over 255 species. The park offers an excellent experience for bird enthusiasts to appreciate their songs and vibrant colours amidst lush vegetation.
Following the safari, we'll return to your hotel in Arugam Bay, concluding the trip after a total of 6 hours.
