The Church of San Nicolás is a notable attraction in Valencia, established over 700 years ago on a Roman temple site. It was given by King Jaime I of Aragon to the Dominican monks, dedicating it to San Nicolás Obispo.

This church exemplifies a blend of Gothic and Baroque styles, with significant transformations in the 17th and 18th centuries. The arches and vaults were modified and adorned with frescos depicting the lives of Saint Nicolás and Saint Peter the Martyr.
