La Albufera Nature Park + Cullera Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit La Albufera Nature Park and Cullera Nature Park, two significant tourist attractions on the coast of Valencia. This experience will take us along the Mediterranean coastline.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the scheduled time on Calle de la Blanquería and start our journey towards the Valencian coastline.

After 45 minutes, we will arrive at Cullera, a city with a history spanning over 25,000 years. Our itinerary includes a stop at the historic center to learn about the events that shaped its culture.

Our tour will include a visit to Cullera Castle, the fortress and walls from the 13th century, and the Santuario de la Virgen del Castillo. We will walk along the Camino del Calvario and enjoy the impressive views.

Continuing in Cullera, we will explore Playa de Los Olivos and Playa Del Racó, experiencing the Mediterranean atmosphere before heading to La Albufera Nature Park.

Upon arrival at La Albufera, we will discover an oasis of rice paddies, linked to the origin of Valencian paella. We will learn more about this region during our exploration.

As the sun begins to set, we will stroll along the banks of the wetlands, observing various birds. We will reflect on why this area is referred to as the Mirror of the Sun. Time permitting, a short boat ride might be included.

After 7 hours, we will conclude the activity back at the starting point.
