San Nicholas Church Ticket
The Church of San Nicolas is a significant historical site in Valencia, founded over 700 years ago on a former Roman temple site. It was given to Dominican monks by King Jaime I of Aragon and is dedicated to San Nicolás Obispo.
San Nicolás features a combination of Gothic and Baroque styles, especially evident in its 17th and 18th-century renovations, which softened arches and added frescoes depicting scenes from the lives of Saint Nicholas and Saint Peter the Martyr.
The church's frescoes have been recently restored, enhancing the comparison of its vaults to the Sistine Chapel. The ticket includes an audio guide that provides insights into this site and the miracles that occurred here.
Opening Hours
The Church of San Nicolás has the following opening hours:
Tuesday - Friday: 10:30 am - 7 pmSaturdays: 10 am - 7 pmSundays & holidays: 1 pm - 8 pm
Final admission is one hour before closing.
Important: On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the church will be open from 9:30 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 8 pm.
Combo Ticket
A combo ticket is available, including an audio guide in five languages (including English) for the Church of Santos Juanes, San Nicolás, and the Silk Museum. This allows one month to visit these three key sites in Valencia. Admission is free for children under 12 years old.
