Tour Options
The Señorita Malauva wine bar, located next to the cathedral of Valladolid, is renowned for tasting wines with Denomination of Origin from the province of Valladolid, including Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Cigales, or Toro. Reservations must include one of the following options, each led by a professional sommelier who will explain the characteristics of the wines over 1.5 hours.
Tasting of 4 Wines & 13 Cheeses
This option includes a tasting of 4 wines with Denomination of Origin: a welcome vermouth, white from Rueda, a rosé or traditional claret from Cigales, and a red from Ribera del Duero, with one glass of each D.O. wine per attendee. The tasting will also feature 13 different kinds of cheese made in Castilla y León, including goat's curl from Tiétar and sheep's cheese with saffron. Important: the last tour on weekends runs from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
Tasting of 4 Wines & Wagyu Beef
This option features a tasting of 4 wines: Vermouth, Rueda, Ribera del Duero, and Cigales, with a focus on the nuances and aromas of these wines. Each attendee will receive one glass of each D.O. wine. The tasting includes exquisite Wagyu beef carpaccio from the Santa Rosalía estate and Wagyu pastrami jerky with honey and mustard sauce.
Tasting of 5 Wines & 13 Cheeses
This option includes the tasting of 5 wines with Denomination of Origin: Rueda, Cigales, Ribera del Duero, Toro, and Tierra de León, accompanied by a tasting of 13 kinds of cheese from Castilla y León.
