Chichen Itza, Izamal & Yokdzonot Cenote Trip
Between 7 and 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valladolid before heading to Chichen Itza, located 45 minutes away.
Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the Mayan site lasting one and a half hours, exploring its temples and deities. This location is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace.
Next, we'll proceed to the Yokdzonot cenote, a notable natural pool in the Yucatan Peninsula. Here, you can swim or dive in depths exceeding 130 feet. At approximately 12:30 pm, a traditional lunch will be served, with options including chicken, panuchos, salbutes, empanadas, or poc-chuc.
After lunch, we'll visit Izamal, known as the city of three cultures. We will visit Kinich Kak Moo, one of the largest structures in Mesoamerica, which you can climb if you wish. We will also stop by a craft workshop to observe traditional artwork being created.
Finally, we will return to Valladolid, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
