The Chichikan ecotourism park, located just 5 minutes by car from Valladolid, is in the Yucatan Peninsula and features a cenote and various green areas. Here you can learn about pre-Columbian society and culture.

Your entrance includes access to a Mayan village where you can engage in interactive experiences. Following a park guide, you can make tortillas or chocolate and learn to play a traditional ball game popular among the Mayans.

After these experiences, you can swim in the Chichikan cenote, a lagoon sacred to pre-Columbian peoples, allowing you to appreciate the natural landscapes characterized by lush greenery.

Following your swim, a traditional lunch is available at the Chichikan restaurant, featuring a typical dish and dessert.

Opening hours

Chichikan is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. Guided areas require a reservation for specific times every 15 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Mayan experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, while the cenote visit is estimated at one hour. Including lunchtime, the total duration of the stay in the park will be between 2 hours and 45 minutes and 3 hours.
