The Chichikan ecotourism park, located just 5 minutes by car from Valladolid, is a space in the Yucatan Peninsula that houses a cenote and numerous green areas. Here you can learn about the society and culture of pre-Columbian times.

Your entrance to Chichikan includes access to a Mayan village where you'll participate in interactive experiences. Following a park guide, you'll be able to make tortillas or chocolate. You'll also learn how to play a traditional ball game, popular among the Mayans.

After these experiences, you can swim in the Chichikan cenote, a lagoon considered sacred by the pre-Columbian peoples, allowing you to appreciate its natural landscapes characterized by green and exuberant nature.

Following the swim, a traditional lunch awaits you at the Chichikan restaurant, featuring a typical dish and a dessert.

Opening hours

Chichikan is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. The guided areas of the park require a reservation every 15 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm.

The approximate duration of the Mayan experience is 45 minutes, and the visit to the cenote is estimated at one hour. Therefore, the total duration of the stay in the park will be between 2 hours and 45 minutes and 3 hours.
