Cerro Playa Ancha Free Tour

Visit the largest and most important hill in Valparaíso with this fantastic free tour of Cerro Playa Ancha. This neighborhood is home to almost a third of the city's population and is famous for its long elegant avenues and neo-gothic Victorian-style houses.

Description

At the indicated time, we will meet at Plaza Sotomayor. From there, we will head to Cerro Playa Ancha, one of the most extensive neighborhoods in the city.

We will board a public bus to get closer to the area and start touring Playa Ancha. Some of the most beautiful Victorian houses in the city are located here, reminiscent of the typical houses in San Francisco, California.

As we walk through the neighborhood, we will enter century-old warehouses and local stores to learn about Porteño culture. We will also enjoy unique views of Valparaiso Bay.

After 2 hours, we will finish the tour as we arrive back at the meeting point.
