We'll meet up at your hotel at 10:30 am to start a tour of the alternative side of Valparaiso. You will have the opportunity to discover the contrasts of the cultural and human heritage of the iconic Chilean city.

First, we'll visit the Barrio Puerto, one of the oldest areas in the city, recognized as a Heritage Site for its architectural and cultural richness. We'll explore its streets with small family-run shops, bars, and old chemists' shops.

Next, we’ll visit the church of La Matriz, located in the historic center of Valparaíso and a center for humanitarian aid in Barrio Puerto.

We'll also stop at the Mercado Puerto, an architectural gem reflecting daily life in Valparaíso. Here, we'll see traditional stalls such as bakeries and local shops. Following this, we will head to Santo Domingo Hill for views of the city’s contrasts.

To conclude, we’ll have a traditional lunch at the home of a family on the oldest hill in Valparaíso followed by a visit to a puppet artist for a short miniature lambe-lambe theatre show. The tour will end with our return at 3:30 pm, dropping you back at your hotel.
