We will first explore Barrio Puerto, one of Valparaiso's oldest neighborhoods that remains relatively unspoiled by tourism. As we wander through its charming streets, you will learn why this area has been designated a Heritage Site, highlighting its architectural charm and cultural significance. You’ll encounter small local shops, cozy bars, and traditional pharmacies that echo the city’s history.

Next, we will visit the La Matriz Church, a beautiful example of porteño architecture located in the heart of the historic district. This church also serves as a hub for humanitarian efforts within the Barrio Puerto, and we will delve into the meaningful work it performs and its importance to the local community.

Our exploration continues at the Mercado Puerto, an architectural gem that embodies the essence of daily life in Valparaíso. Following this, we’ll visit the residence of a puppet artist to enjoy a brief performance of miniature lambe-lambe theatre.
