We'll meet up at your hotel at 10:30 am to start a tour of the alternative side of Valparaiso, focusing on the contrasts of the cultural and human heritage of the city.

We will first visit the Barrio Puerto, one of the oldest and less touristy areas, recognized as a Heritage Site for its architectural and cultural richness. You can explore its streets with small family-run shops, bars, and old chemists' shops.

Next is the church of La Matriz, located in the heart of the historic center, known for its humanitarian aid efforts in the Barrio Puerto.

We will also visit the Mercado Puerto, an architectural gem that holds remnants of daily life in Valparaíso, featuring traditional stalls including bakeries and neighborhood shops. Then, we will head to Santo Domingo Hill for views showcasing the contrasts of Valparaíso.

To conclude, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at a family home on the oldest hill in Valparaíso, followed by a visit to a puppet artist's house for a short show of miniature lambe-lambe theatre, providing a unique and poetic ending to the tour.
