Musical Valparaiso
We'll meet at Plaza Sotomayor at the scheduled time to kick off our music tour of Valparaíso, a city acclaimed by UNESCO as a Creative City of Music.
Our journey begins with a stroll to Cordillera Hill, known as the birthplace of poets and singers. A local musician will accompany us and provide insights into the musical history of this coastal Chilean port city.
The main musical genres featured are cueca chora and bolero, leading us to the Port neighborhood. Here, our guide will perform a popular repertoire from the port. To enhance the experience, each participant will enjoy a glass of wine or beer.
Our next stop will be Liberty, the oldest bar in Valparaiso, founded in 1897, a renowned gathering spot for musicians and locals.
The tour concludes as we return to our starting point, completing a 4-hour musical experience.
