Musical Valparaiso
We'll meet at Plaza Sotomayor at the scheduled time to kick off our music tour of Valparaíso, a city acclaimed by UNESCO as a Creative City of Music.
Our journey will commence with a stroll to Cordillera Hill, known as the birthplace of poets and singers. Along the way, a local musician will accompany us and share insights into the musical history of this coastal Chilean port city.
The main musical genres featured are cueca chora and bolero, leading us to the Port neighborhood. With iconic buildings as our backdrop, our guide will serenade us with a popular repertoire from the port. We will enjoy a glass of wine or beer during the experience.
Our journey will take us to the Liberty, the oldest bar in Valparaiso, founded in 1897 and a renowned gathering spot for musicians and locals.
We'll conclude our musical 4-hour tour by returning to our starting point.
