Valparaiso Walking Tour

We will meet at Plaza Sotomayor at 2 pm to start the tour, showcasing the principal attractions of Valparaiso, characterized by colorful houses and hills overlooking the sea.

The tour begins on one of the famed funicular railways, which have been in operation for over 100 years, connecting the city's lower areas with the hilltop districts. We will explore Alegre Hill and Concepción Hill, walking through the streets and ascending steps to reach stunning viewpoints.

Afterward, we will take another funicular train back to Plaza Sotomayor, where you will ride a trolleybus around the historic center. Some of these vehicles are over 50 years old and are classified as National Monuments.

The tour culminates with a ride on the Artillería funicular, providing exceptional views of the city. We will conclude at Paseo 21 de Mayo at approximately 5 pm.
