Grouse Mountain Day Trip

After picking you up at your hotel, we'll head north to the mountains just outside the city, crossing the Lions Gate Bridge during our scenic drive.

Our first stop is the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you can cross the longest footbridge in the world, standing above an old-growth cedar forest and the Capilano River. We will admire the park's natural surroundings, view First Nations artwork, and experience the Cliffwalk attraction.

Next, we'll visit the salmon hatchery on the river bank, where we will learn about local salmon species and their reproduction challenges, observing hatching and young fish before their release into a nearby river.

Then, we will proceed to Grouse Mountain, taking a cable car to the peak. Enjoy the views as the Skyride ascends. At the top, you can explore the Wildlife Refuge, see chainsaw carvings, and learn about local wildlife at the Theatre in the Sky.

After enjoying the forest landscapes, we will return to your hotel, completing the tour in a total of 6.5 hours.
