Vancouver Guided Tour
We will meet at the Vancouver Hotel at the specified time to start the guided tour of Vancouver. Our first stop will be Stanley Park, known for its totem poles created by local indigenous tribes. We will discuss their history as we admire the park and its exhibits. Next, we will visit Prospect Point for views of the park.
Following this, we will head to Granville Island, a cultural hub featuring the Public Market with fresh produce and specialty foods, along with theatres and artist studios. We will then explore Chinatown, also known as Golden Village, to learn about its significance in Vancouver’s Chinese community. Our tour continues to Gastown, a National Historic Site known for its cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and monuments like Gassy Jack Deighton and the steam clock.
We will visit Canada Place, an iconic waterfront building, before concluding our tour at English Bay, overlooking the beach. The total duration of the tour is 3.5 hours.
