On this day trip to Victoria, we will explore the history of the capital of British Columbia and view significant sites such as the Parliament and the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your chosen pickup point in Vancouver and proceed to the harbor to board the ferry to Victoria. During the journey, you can enjoy views of the beautiful Gulf Islands and the fresh ocean air, or visit restaurants and shops on the boat.
Upon arrival at Victoria's Inner Harbour, we will walk along the vibrant Government Street to the Chinatown district, the oldest in Canada. Here, we will explore the Fan Tan Alley, recognized as the narrowest shopping street in North America.
Next, we will visit the Butchart Gardens, known for its diverse range of nearly 900 different species of plants and inspiring garden designs, including Italian and Japanese styles.
We will then see the Fairmont Empress Hotel, a renowned luxury waterfront hotel designed by Francis Rattenbury and declared a National Historic Site of Canada.
Finally, we will visit the Parliament of British Columbia, the site of the state's Legislative Assembly, before returning to Vancouver. The total duration of the trip is 13 hours.
