We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:30 am to begin our private tour of São Jorge. Our first stop will be at Parque Forestal das Sete Fuentes, a natural area with various tree species. Next, we will visit Ponta dos Rosais, a cape where bird species such as the common tern and the cory nest. We will then proceed to the Fajã de João Dias viewpoint to admire the coastline.

You will learn about the production of São Jorge cheese during our visit to the Beira Cheese Factory, where we will also enjoy a tasting. Around 12 pm, we will have a buffet lunch at a traditional restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit the church of Santa Barbara, which holds an important 18th-century tile mosaic, and then stop at Casa do Parque, a museum detailing the geology of the Azores.

We will continue to Fajã do Ouvidor and the natural pool known as Simão Dias. Weather permitting, we will snorkel in the waters. We will see contrasting landscapes at Fajã dos Cubres, Caldeira Santo Cristo, and Fajã dos Vimes, which features coffee plantations.

Finally, we will arrive at Ponta do Topo, the location where the first men landed on the archipelago, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel by 5:30 pm.
