São Jorge Hike

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in São Jorge and take you to the Fajã do Ouvidor and Fajã dos Cubres viewpoints to enjoy panoramic views of the island.

We'll then head to Beira to visit its cheese factory. While enjoying its delicious products, you'll learn about their awards and protected status.

After this, we'll start a trek through valleys filled with hydrangeas, heather, and holophytic flora. Along the way, we'll see the famous fajãs formed by lava flows.

At 12 pm, we'll stop for a picnic lunch, which includes a sandwich, fruit, juice, water, and a traditional sweet treat.

After lunch, we'll continue walking to the coast, making another stop at the Fajã do Ouvidor viewpoint before descending to the Simão Dias natural pool, where you can swim in the emerald waters of the Azores.

Our trek concludes in São Jorge, and we will drop you back at your hotel at 4 pm.
