São Jorge Hike

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in São Jorge and take you to the Fajã do Ouvidor and Fajã dos Cubres viewpoints for fantastic panoramic views.

Next, we'll visit a cheese factory in Beira, where you can taste award-winning cheese with protected status.

Then, we'll trek through valleys with vibrant hydrangeas, heather, and holophytic flora. Along the way, you’ll see the famous fajãs formed by lava flows.

At 12 pm, we'll pause for a picnic lunch featuring a sandwich, fruit, juice, water, and a traditional sweet treat.

After lunch, we'll continue to the coast, stopping again at the Fajã do Ouvidor viewpoint before descending to the Simão Dias natural pool for a dip in the emerald waters.

The trek concludes in São Jorge, where we will return you to your hotel by 4 pm.
