Upon reservation, you can opt for one of three snorkeling experiences in Sao Jorge. Each option includes transportation, an English-speaking guide, and all necessary snorkeling gear. Here are the specifics for each tour:

Snorkeling at the Simão Dias Natural Pool (4 hours)

Our adventure begins at the Fajã de Ouvidor viewpoint, where breathtaking vistas of Sao Jorge's northern coastline await. From there, we will descend to the shore to embark on a snorkeling adventure in the Simão Dias natural pool.

While swimming in the crystal-clear waters, you'll encounter a variety of marine life, including turtles and tuna. The unique rock formations around the pool provide a stunning backdrop! After 1.5 hours of exploration, you will have time to investigate further, unwind, and enjoy a drink before we return to the meeting point.

Snorkeling in Urzelina (4 hours)

After your pickup, we’ll proceed to Urzelina, where you will snorkeling in the vibrant waters of the southern region of Sao Jorge. Equipped with our snorkeling gear, we'll embark on a 1.5-hour journey to marvel at the striking volcanic basalt formations, the intriguing cliff cavities, and the lively schools of fish—you might even catch a glimpse of some dolphins! Following the snorkeling, enjoy some leisure time to eat and unwind before concluding the experience.

Snorkeling in Sao Jorge (4 hours)

Choosing this experience allows you to snorkel at various locations throughout Sao Jorge. We will first make a quick stop at the Fajã de Ouvidor viewpoint to soak in the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.

Next, we will dive into the Simão Dias natural pool, exploring its enchanting underwater world. Alongside observing diverse marine species, you'll have the opportunity to leap into the water from the rocks.

We will then journey through the volcanic landscapes to arrive at the Fajã de Santo Amaro beach, where you'll have the chance to encounter white marlins, turtles, swordfish, and manta rays amidst breathtaking underwater vistas! To finish off, we’ll head toward the Urzelina area, where adventurous participants can explore a World War II shipwreck.
