Murano & Burano Free Tour

With this free tour in English, we'll discover the charm of the islands of Murano and Burano, famous and colorful islands of the Venetian lagoon!

Description

At 9:15 am, we'll meet at Campo dei Gesuiti in Venice. From here, we'll head to the Fondamente Nove pier to take the vaporetto to Burano.

Discover Burano's colorful houses during our walk through the center, where we'll see the Church of San Martino and learn about the origin of the famous Burano lace, known as "merletti". We'll also share some legends of Burano. After exploring Burano, we'll take the vaporetto to Murano.

In Murano, we'll walk through its picturesque streets between canals and learn interesting facts about the island's past. You can visit a Murano glass factory to observe their master craftsmen at work.

We will conclude the free tour in Murano at about 1:45 pm. You can choose to stay longer on the island or return with the guide to Venice at 2:15 pm.

To travel from Venice to the islands of Murano and Burano, you'll need the ACTV transport card, priced at 25EUR per person for 1 day.

This free tour does not accept groups of more than 6 people. Larger groups should book our private excursion to Murano.
