Murano & Burano Self-Guided Tour

Enjoy a relaxing day afloat the beautiful Venetian Lagoon. We'll travel by boat to two beautiful islands: Murano and Burano. On Murano, you'll watch a live demonstration of traditional glassblowing.

Boat to Murano & Burano

We'll meet at the indicated time at a central pier in Venice and board our tour boat to explore the Venetian Lagoon.

After a cruise across the lagoon, the first stop is on the island of Murano, known for its glass-making industry. We will spend about 45 minutes visiting a glass factory to watch a live demonstration.

Next, we head to the island of Burano, where you will have approximately an hour and a half to explore its colored houses and cultural heritage. Visit shops and the lace museum to understand the local craft.

We'll regroup at the Burano pier for the return to Venice, concluding at either Santa Lucia Pier or Riva degli Schiavioni Pier.

Add a Trip to Torcello

Upgrade your tour by adding a stop in Torcello. After visiting Murano and Burano, we’ll take a boat to Torcello. Discover its history, explore its streets, and visit attractions such as Attila's Throne and the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. Enjoy local cuisine with wine and cicchetti.

Pickup & Drop-off Points

Select a pickup and drop-off location when reserving:

Santa Lucia pier: departure at 10 am (Murano and Burano) or 12 pm (Murano, Burano, and Torcello).Riva degli Schiavioni pier: departure at 10:30 am (Murano and Burano) or 12:30 pm (Murano, Burano, and Torcello).

For the return, a fee of 7.50EUR applies if traveling from Riva to Santa Lucia. Sometimes, the activity may end at Tronchetto, and guidance to Piazzale Roma will be provided.

More Time in Murano & Burano

You can stay longer on these islands and return in the evening without extra cost. Notify us at the start of the tour.

Leave Murano at 3:45 pm, visit Burano, and return around 6:45 pm.Leave Burano at 5:30 pm, heading directly to Venice, arriving around 6:15 pm.
