St. Mark's Basilica, Terrace & Museum

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Campo San Zaccaria, to kick off our guided tour of St. Mark's Basilica. During the tour, we'll see the Ascension Dome mosaics and learn about the different scenes represented. We'll also have access to the basilica's terrace for city views and its museum for further exploration of the basilica's history. The tour lasts one hour.

Main Nave of the Basilica

If you choose this option, you'll have fast-track entry and enjoy a guided tour of St. Mark's Basilica's ground floor. Our guide will lead us through the expansive nave and aisles, highlighting the marble floors and columns. The tour lasts 45 minutes.

Itinerary changes

Due to operational changes, the skip-the-line service is temporarily suspended, and all visitors will have to wait in line to enter the basilica.

From Monday to Saturday, the entrance will be on the ground floor of the basilica, followed by a visit to the museum and terrace. On Sundays and public holidays, visitors will enter directly from the upper floor to visit the museum and terrace, as the first floor is reserved for mass.
