Attend a concert of Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons in the very place where the artist composed his most famous works—a magical experience!
Description
The Santa Maria della Pietà church, also known as Vivaldi's Church, is closely associated with Antonio Vivaldi. Located on Riva degli Schiavoni, near the Doge's Palace, this church served as an orphanage where Vivaldi lived and worked for 40 years, composing many of his famous works.
A group of musicians pays homage to Vivaldi with a concert of The Four Seasons in the church. The church's acoustics and frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo enhance this experience. Enjoy the iconic melodies performed by one of the best orchestras in Italy for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Days of Operation
The concert takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays, attendees will experience Around Vivaldi: An Immersive Experience, honoring Vivaldi and other classical composers.
Venice Music Museum
This activity includes admission to the Museum of Music, located in the ancient church of San Maurizio, which features a collection of 200 original instruments. The museum highlights musical pieces related to Venice and composers including Antonio Vivaldi, Amati, and Giovanni Battista Guadagnini.
Museum Opening Hours
The museum is open daily from 10 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and visitors can enter at any time during these hours, regardless of the booking date.
