Day Trip to El Tajín & Papantla

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Veracruz and embark on an approximately 4-hour journey to the archaeological site of El Tajín.

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore this ancient Totonac city. The remarkable preservation of this site is sure to captivate you. Among its features, the standout is undoubtedly the Pyramid of the Niches; with seven platforms, it surpasses even the renowned pyramids of Egypt!

Following your exploration of El Tajín, we will take you to an area with numerous restaurants, providing you approximately 1.5 hours to enjoy lunch.

After lunch, the next stop will be the El Tajín Museum, where you will delve into the fascinating Totonac culture and view additional archaeological ruins.

We will then depart from the archaeological site of El Tajín and head towards Papantla. In this charming city, you will experience a guided tour, allowing you to explore the most emblematic locations and gain insights into the local lifestyle.

The tour will conclude with your return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 pm.
