Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the lagoons that surround it, when you take this trip from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet up at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and catch the tram to the village of Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will arrive and head to the pier where a boat will be waiting for us.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from the Laguna Chica to the Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves, where you will witness the area's diverse fauna and flora.

Along the way, we will encounter various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, inhabiting the small islands in the lagoons.

When the boat ride has finished, you will have around one hour of your own free time to taste the region's typical fish and seafood in one of the local restaurants. You can't miss the Mandinga oysters, often freshly fished as you wait.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and hop back on the tram, which will take us back to Veracruz in just half an hour. Our trip ends at the original starting point.
