Mandinga Boat Trip

Discover the village of Mandinga and enjoy a boat trip on the lagoons surrounding it, when you take this trip from Veracruz.

Boat Trip Details

We will meet up at 3 pm in Plaza Acuario and then catch the tram to the village of Mandinga. After a 30-minute journey, we will arrive and head to the pier where a boat will be waiting.

For the next 40 minutes, we will sail from the Laguna Chica to the Laguna Grande, passing through a forest of mangroves, where you will witness diverse fauna and flora.

Along the way, we will encounter various bird species, such as herons and cormorants, which inhabit small islands that emerge over the lagoons.

When the boat ride has finished, you will have around one hour of free time to taste the region's typical fish and seafood in local restaurants. You can't miss the Mandinga oysters, which are sometimes fished out while you wait.

At 6 pm, we will return to the station and hop back on the tram, which will take us back to Veracruz in half an hour. Our trip ends at the original starting point.
