Orizaba & Coscomatepec Excursion

On the morning of the tour, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Veracruz. From there, we'll set off to visit two renowned Pueblos Mágicos of the region.

Our first stop will be in Orizaba, where you'll visit the 19th-century Palacio de Hierro, the seat of municipal government, and take the local cable car to Cerro del Borrego natural park. At the top, enjoy views of this protected area from an altitude of 1240 meters above sea level.

Next, we'll head to Coscomatepec, located in the region of Las Altas Montañas. Here, you will see the Church of San Juan Bautista, which contains a famous carving of the Christ of the Agony. You'll also visit Constitution Park and the colonial-style Municipal Palace.

We will visit a typical bakery to learn about the renowned bread and sweets of this area. From various spots, the imposing Citlaltépetl volcano can be viewed, so bring your camera. After the visit, you'll have two hours of free time for lunch.

At the conclusion of this day trip, we will return to Veracruz, arriving at your hotel between 7 and 7:20 pm.
