Tuxtlas and Catemaco Trip
At 8 am, pick-up will be at your hotel in Veracruz before we head south to Santiago Tuxtla, famous for the largest Olmec head in southern Mexico. You'll be impressed by this giant stone sculpture.
After a visit to Benito Juarez Park in Santiago Tuxtla, we'll proceed to Eyipantla Falls, featuring a drop of over 160 feet (50 meters). A stroll through the lush jungle will allow you to admire the natural beauty of the falls.
Next, we will travel to the town of Catemaco. Here, we'll board a boat for a journey on the Laguna Encantada (Enchanted Lagoon), visiting islets such as Monkey Island and Heron Island, where you will meet their friendly residents.
Following the boat ride, you'll have one and a half hours of free time to enjoy local cuisine at nearby restaurants. After lunch, we will return to Veracruz, with drop-off at your hotel around 8:30 pm.
