Xalapa & Coatepec Day Trip

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Veracruz and drive north to visit the State of Veracruz's capital, Xalapa.

First, we'll visit the El Lencero Museum, historically significant as it was the residence of one of Hernán Cortés' soldiers and later of former president Antonio López de Santa Anna. The museum features furniture, personal belongings, gardens, and coffee plantations.

Next, we'll explore the centre of Xalapa where you'll visit the Government Palace, Bishop Guízar and Valencia Cathedral, and the University campus. The Xalapa Museum of Anthropology is also included in the itinerary, showcasing artifacts from pre-Hispanic cultures such as the Olmec, Totonaca, and Huasteca.

Following this historical tour, we'll head to Coatepec, known as Mexico's 'magical town', recognized for its coffee production.

We'll tour the Interactive Coffee Museum, where you'll learn about the coffee-making process and taste different types of coffee from Coatepec.

At 6:30 pm, we will commence our return journey to your hotel in Veracruz, aiming to arrive by 8 pm.
