Xalapa & Coatepec Day Trip

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Veracruz and drive to Xalapa, the capital of the State of Veracruz.

First, we'll visit the El Lencero Museum, the historical residence of Antonio López de Santa Anna and previously inhabited by a soldier of Hernán Cortés. The museum features furniture, personal belongings of the former president, gardens, and coffee plantations.

Next, we'll head to the centre of Xalapa to visit key sites including the Government Palace, the Bishop Guízar and Valencia Cathedral, and the University campus. Additionally, we will explore the Xalapa Museum of Anthropology, which showcases significant artifacts from pre-Hispanic cultures such as the Olmec, Totonaca, and Huasteca.

Following our historical tour, we'll proceed to Coatepec, known as Mexico's 'magical town', renowned for its coffee.

Here, we will tour the Interactive Coffee Museum, learning about the significance of coffee in the region and tasting various coffee types produced in Coatepec.

At 6:30 pm, we will begin our return to your hotel in Veracruz, arriving by 8 pm.
