Verona Bike Tour
We will meet at 9:30 am on Via Teatro Ristori for a 4.3-mile (7-kilometre) bike tour around Verona.
The tour begins near Castelvecchio, where we will admire the Ponte Scaligero. We will continue along the Adige River until we reach the Ponte Pietra. Our guide will share facts and legends about the city during the ride.
Next, we will visit the Castle of San Pietro, an Iron Age building, and learn about its renovations. Following this, we will head to Piazza delle Erbe to see the Lamberti Tower.
Before concluding the tour, we will view the exterior of the Verona Arena, an amphitheater reminiscent of the Colosseum, and discuss its history dating back to the Roman Empire.
The bike tour will finish at 12:30 pm back at the starting point.
