Beginning with a pickup from the Viapark shopping centre in Aguadulce, you will travel to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, the largest protected coastal area in Andalusia with diverse geology and geography.
During the tour, highlights include viewing the San Miguel salt flats, the coral reef known as the Sirens Reef, and the Cabo de Gata lighthouse, which is associated with a legend of a hidden treasure.
You will explore the fossilised dunes in Los Escullos and enjoy panoramic views from the Amatistas viewpoint of the park's rugged scenery.
The tour proceeds to the historic gold mining town of Rodalquilar, where you can see remnants of its abandoned factories and buildings.
Lastly, you will visit the coastal town of San José, with free time for lunch at a local restaurant (not included), where local specialties such as rockfish and red shrimp are recommended.
After lunch, you will regroup for the return to Aguadulce, concluding the tour at the original meeting point.
