Tour Overview
At the designated time, we will gather at the Tourist Information Center to commence this complimentary walking tour in Victoria, right across from the BC Legislature Building, the seat of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
After a short introduction about Victoria, our adventure will begin as we navigate through the Inner Harbour. This port, strategically positioned at the southern edge of Vancouver Island, holds a wealth of interesting stories that we will share with you.
In one of the most picturesque sections of the harbor, we will admire the stunning exterior of the Fairmount Empress, renowned as the most celebrated hotel in Victoria. Curious about its fame? We'll provide insights as we explore! Next, we'll venture into the Boomtown district to unveil its notable landmarks, including the renowned Bastion Square.
After delving into its vibrant history, we will proceed to the Chinatown area, characterized by streets such as Fan Tan and Dragon Alley, where the ambiance feels reminiscent of the Far East.
