What Can I Expect?
On the day of the activity, we'll meet in the centre of Vienna and board a comfortable bus.
Dürnstein Castle
Our first stop will be the ruins of Dürnstein Castle, where Richard of Lionheart was reportedly held captive. You'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the grounds.
Krems Wine Region
The next stop is the Krems wine region in the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, known for its historical charm and scenic beauty.
Melk City
Our final stop is the city of Melk, noted for its architectural styles, especially the grand baroque Melk Abbey. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the abbey.
Boat trip on the Danube
From mid-April to the end of October, a boat ride on the Danube River is included. Outside this period, a guided tour of Melk Abbey will replace the boat ride.
