Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After being picked up from your hotel, we will proceed to Salzburg, located on Austria's border with Germany.

During the journey, we will traverse the beautiful landscapes of the Salzkammergut region, home to large mountains and lakes, including a brief photo stop at Lake Mondsee.

Upon arriving in Salzburg, we will take a tour to see significant monuments such as the Cathedral, Festival Hall, St. Peter's Church and its cemetery, the Salzburg Residence, and the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

You will explore sites from "The Sound of Music," including the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, offering views of Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of Europe's best-preserved Medieval fortresses.

After the guided tour, you will have approximately 2.5 hours of free time for lunch, shopping, and exploration. You may also visit the Salzburg Fortress; however, the entrance fee is not included.

Finally, after a day of stunning sights, we will return to Vienna, arriving after 13 hours, with the tour concluding at the Vienna State Opera.
