Full-Day Trip to Salzburg

After being picked up from your hotel, we will travel to Salzburg, a city on Austria's border with Germany.

The journey will go through the Salzkammergut region, known for its mountains and lakes, including a brief stop at Lake Mondsee for photos. Upon arrival in Salzburg, we will tour key monuments: the Cathedral, Festival Hall, St. Peter's Church and cemetery (final resting place of Mozart's sister Nannerl), Salzburg Residence, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthplace.

We will explore locations from The Sound of Music, including the Baroque Pferdeschwemme horse well and Mirabell Palace, offering views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, a significant Medieval fortress in Europe.

After the guided tour, you will have approximately 2.5 hours of free time for lunch, shopping, and exploration. You may also visit the Salzburg Fortress, although the entrance fee is not included.

The tour concludes as we return to Vienna, arriving after 13 hours at the Vienna State Opera.
