Hallstatt Day Trip

Description

Start with a hotel pickup in Vienna for a drive to the scenic Salzkammergut mountain district. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, leading to Hallstatt, a historic town in the Austrian Alps. An English-speaking guide will accompany you to explore the cobbled alleyways that reflect 700 years of history and the architecture of the town's buildings.

Enjoy 1 hour 30 minutes of free time for lunch and further exploration. Depending on the season, you may experience a boat trip on the lake in summer or visit the Bone House at St. Michael's Chapel during other times. This site features a collection of over 600 artistically painted skulls from the 12th century.

Following the tour, we will return to Vienna, arriving at the Vienna State Opera at 8:15 pm.
