Haus der Musik Ticket

In Seilerstätte street, in the heart of Vienna's historical centre, you'll find the Haus der Musik. This museum, the first in Austria dedicated solely to music and sound, showcases the world of music, from exhibitions of its origins to interactive experiences. Visitors can create their own tunes.

The Haus der Musik is spread over four different floors. On the first floor, you'll learn about the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and see important musical scores interpreted by the group.

On the second floor, you can become a musical explorer. In the Sonosphere, you’ll take part in a musical expedition through the origins of sound and human interpretation.

On the third floor, discover classical music secrets from great composers like Mozart and Beethoven. You can even step into the shoes of an orchestra conductor.

The fourth floor features a virtual stage, allowing you to direct your own musical theatre show.

Opening Times

Vienna's Haus der Musik is open from Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm. Final admission is at 9 pm. The museum has adjusted hours on certain dates:

March 28 and 29: 10 am to 5 pm, with final admission at 4 pm.December 24: 10 am to 6 pm, with final admission at 5 pm.
