With this ticket, you'll have access to the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History), a palace erected to house the Habsburg art collection. Its façade is crowned with a 60-meter dome featuring a statue of Pallas Athena.

In this museum, you'll see different exhibitions classified by historical eras. Highlights include 17,000 objects from Egypt and the Middle East and dedicated rooms for Roman and Greek art, including the famous Gemma Augustea. Additionally, an exhibition features over half a million coins.

The art gallery collection includes paintings by Velazquez, Titian, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Pieter Brueghel, Rubens, and Dürer. Notable works include The Tower of Babel, Triptych of Calvary, The Lamentation of Christ, and the Portrait of a young Venetian girl. Other exhibits include sarcophagi, mummies, and a recreation of one of the lions of the Ishtar Gate of Babylon. The museum presents works from Classical antiquity to the 18th century.

From June to August: open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. On Thursdays, open until 9 pm.From September to May: open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. On Thursdays, open until 9 pm.
