The Vienna hop-on hop-off bus provides a convenient mode of transportation around the city. You can get on and off at any of the stops, allowing for flexible exploration.

Bus Details

This sightseeing bus operates on 2 routes with 22 stops. The open-top double-decker bus enables visits to key locations in Vienna. Pre-recorded commentary in English covers the sights and history of the city. Depending on the ticket length you choose, you can also add another route and a walking tour with an audio guide.

Notable stops include Opera, Stadtpark, Mariahilferstrasse, Schönbrunn Palace, and Hofburg and Belvedere Museums.

How Does It Work?

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the first use. During this period, you can hop on and off the bus as often as desired. Though a start date is required for reservation, you may use the service within two weeks after this date. A voucher will be provided upon reservation, which must be presented on your first bus ride.

24-Hour Ticket

This ticket allows unlimited access to the main routes for 24 hours.

Red line: Departs from 9:30 am to 5 pm every hour, with the full tour lasting one and a half hours.Blue line: Departs from 9:45 am to 4:15 pm every 30 minutes, also with a tour lasting one and a half hours.

48-Hour Ticket

This ticket provides unlimited access to the main routes for 48 hours along with a walking tour that includes an audio guide.

Note that the following stops on the red line are closed until further notice: 10 Blue Danube / Pier 3, 11 Danube River Cruises B / Pier 8, 12 Danube Tower, and 13 Old Danube / Alte Donau.
