The Vienna Sightseeing bus features four different routes with recorded commentaries in English. The main stops include:

Red Line: begins at stop 2 (History of Art Museum) and traverses the Ringstrasse, stopping at the State Opera, Town Hall, University, Danube Pier, Heroes' Square, and St. Stephen's Cathedral.Blue Line: starts at stop 13 (Museum of Applied Arts) and covers extended areas like the Prater amusement park, Danube Park, Danube Tower, and Kunsthaus museum.Yellow Line: begins at stop 1 (State Opera) and takes you to Schönbrunn and Belvedere palaces.Green Line (available until November 2, 2025): starts at stop 47 (Votiva Church) and leads to Grinzing and Kahlenberg hill.

How Does It Work?

The Vienna Sightseeing bus ticket is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours from first use, allowing unlimited boarding during that period. A start date is required upon booking, but service is enjoyable for one year from that date.

A voucher will be emailed upon reservation, which must be presented on the first bus.

Schedule & Frequency

Buses operate daily from 9:20 am to 7:35 pm. Frequency varies between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the line and day.
