The Vienna Sightseeing Bus operates four routes with the following key stops:
Red Line: Starts at stop 2 (History of Art Museum), passing key sites such as the State Opera and St. Stephen's Cathedral.Blue Line: Begins at stop 13 (Museum of Applied Arts), reaching attractions like the Prater amusement park and the Kunsthaus museum.Yellow Line: Starts at stop 1 (State Opera), leading to Schönbrunn and Belvedere palaces.Green Line (available until November 2, 2025): Starts at stop 47 (Votiva Church), visiting Grinzing and Kahlenberg hill.
Most buses feature two levels and a convertible roof for optimal viewing.
How Does It Work?
Tickets are valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours from the first use, allowing unlimited travel during that period. Booking requires a start date, but services can be used within a year of that date. A voucher will be emailed for presentation on the first bus.
Schedule & Frequency
Buses operate daily from 9:20 am to 7:35 pm, with frequencies of 10 to 20 minutes. Future changes include operational updates for the Green Line and Yellow Line starting from April 1, 2025, as well as a one-hour night tour starting June 19, 2025.
