Vienna & State Opera House Tour
We'll begin our guided walk through Vienna's historic center at Albertinaplatz, next to the Danube Fountain.
During our tour, we'll learn about the link between the House of Habsburg and the history of Spain by reviewing these connections next to the Hofburg Imperial Palace, home to the Spanish Riding School. This institution, dating back to the 16th century, is recognized as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After observing the majestic architecture, we'll continue through the center of Vienna to St. Stephen's Cathedral, where we’ll appreciate the architectural styles of its façade, including Romanesque and Gothic elements.
Our next stop is Heldenplatz, where Hitler announced the annexation of Austria to the Third Reich. Nearby, we will visit Burggarten park to learn about Austrian music next to the statue of Mozart.
The tour will conclude with a guided visit to the Vienna State Opera, experiencing the Austrian passion for music through the stalls and stage area, among the most famous opera venues in the world.
