Vienna & State Opera House Tour
We'll begin our guided walk through Vienna's historic center at Albertinaplatz, next to the Danube Fountain.
During our tour, we'll explore the connection between the House of Habsburg and the history of Spain. This will be discussed next to the Hofburg Imperial Palace, which houses the Spanish Riding School. This institution, established in the 16th century, is recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After viewing the exterior architecture of these buildings, we'll continue our tour at St. Stephen's Cathedral. We'll examine its façade, noting the Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles.
Our next stop is Heldenplatz, where Hitler announced Austria's annexation to the Third Reich. From there, we'll proceed to Burggarten park, where we will learn about Austrian music at the statue of Mozart.
The tour will conclude with a guided tour of the Vienna State Opera, where we will visit the stalls and stage area, renowned as one of the leading opera venues in the world.
