Vienna Woods Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet in the center of Vienna. We'll then leave the Austrian capital behind to explore the Vienna Woods, a Biosphere Reserve that stretches to the foothills of the Alps.
The first stop will be the Heiligenkreuz Abbey, a Cistercian monastery founded in 1133, the oldest continuously occupied monastery of its kind in the world. Visit its Medieval cloisters, where you'll find the tombs of the last members of the Babenberg dynasty.
The tour will continue to Lake Hinterbrühl, where we'll visit its grotto. This lake is noted for its peculiar layout and is the largest underground lake in Europe.
The tour will conclude back at the meeting point approximately 5 hours later.
