Description

We'll meet at Wien Mitte shopping center and take a train to explore the picturesque Vienna Woods in Lower Austria, known for its wine production. Our first stop will be Baden bei Wien, where we will embark on a 9-kilometer hike through vineyards.

The hike will lead us to Gumpoldskirchen, where there will be free time for lunch. After lunch, we will visit a local winery to explore the rich history of winemaking and learn about the influence of ancient monastic orders.

The adventure concludes with a return train trip after an eight-and-a-half-hour exploration.

Changes to the itinerary

If you go on the tour between November and March, the vineyard walk will last only 20 minutes to minimize exposure to cold. The activity will last 7.5 hours instead of 8.5, but will include two wine tastings instead of one.
