At your selected time, make your way to the port in Vigo to board the ferry to the Cíes Islands. The trip will take just 40 minutes. Once disembarked, you can explore the island's hills and beaches or relax as you prefer.

Ferry departure times from the Cíes Islands vary by season and may change. The schedule will be provided during booking, and your specific return time will be confirmed close to your original choice.

Return on a Different Day

If you'd like to return on a different day, please indicate so in the comments section when reserving. For camping on the islands, you need to obtain the relevant permit from the Xunta de Galicia, as only same-day return tickets are arranged.

Low Season Guided Tours

In low season (between October 1 and May 14), the ticket to the Cíes Islands includes a one-hour tour with an official guide. Independent visits are prohibited during low season. The guide will accompany you during the boat trip and will show you the main routes upon docking, explaining key anecdotes about the history and nature of the archipelago. This guided tour will not take place during Easter.

Authorization from the Xunta de Galicia

In high season (from May 15th to September 30th and Easter), you must bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. It will be emailed to you as soon as possible. For the rest of the year, it will be provided by the guide.

Authorization for Campers

If staying at a campsite in the Cíes, the campsite must process your authorizations. If these are not canceled, the shipping company cannot cancel boat tickets. If canceled, the campsite will confirm it, and you must contact the shipping company within the refund period to cancel your tickets.
