Monchique Mountains & Bravura Lake Jeep Tour

On this tour, you'll explore the inland region of the Algarve in an all-terrain vehicle, discovering the Monchique Mountains and Bravura Lake.

Tour Options

Upon reservation, you can choose between the following tour options. Both begin at 8:30 am and include pickup from your hotel in Sagres.

Half-Day Tour (4.5 hours)

After hotel pickup, we will explore the inland region of the Algarve in a 4x4 vehicle, focusing on the Monchique mountains and Bravura Lake. You will see local flora, fauna, and some quaint villages.

From Sagres, we will drive to Bravura Lake, where you can enjoy a 15-minute walk along the shoreline and have the option to swim. Following this, we'll continue to Serra de Monchique, making a stop at an abandoned village in the mountains and visiting a 60-meter high waterfall.

Lastly, we will drive to the highest point of the Monchique mountains for views of the Algarve.

Full-Day Tour (8 hours)

The full-day tour includes the above itinerary and adds a stop in Monchique for lunch at a local restaurant, featuring regional dishes. After lunch, we will explore this quaint village and visit the ruins of the convent of Monchique, learning about its legends and enjoying incredible views.
